Commercial air cargo from the Netherlands
Shipping from the Netherlands to Tanzania
Many European brands and distributors ship from the Netherlands. We fly your goods from Dutch suppliers to Dar es Salaam as commercial cargo, from 70 kg per shipment.
Commercial cargo, priced per kilo
From the Netherlands we fly larger shipments for one business or client at a time. That keeps your goods together and moving, instead of waiting for other people’s orders.
€13.5
per kg
Air freight from the airport in the Netherlands to Dar es Salaam, on actual or volume weight, whichever is higher (L × W × H cm ÷ 5000).
70 kg
minimum per shipment
One client per shipment, no consolidation. Smaller shipments are charged as 70 kg.
EXW
quoted separately
Pickup from your supplier, Dutch export clearance and origin airport handling are quoted per order, before you pay.
What we fly from the Netherlands
Agricultural and greenhouse equipment
Irrigation, greenhouse, poultry and dairy-farm equipment. Seeds and plant material need a plant import permit.
Food processing equipment
Machines and spare parts for dairies, bakeries and food factories. Food products themselves need checking first.
Electronics and distributor stock
IT, solar and electrical stock from European distributors. Lithium batteries need checking before they fly.
Example: 150 kg of irrigation equipment × €13.5/kg = €2,025 air freight, plus EXW charges.

the Netherlands shipping questions
Can you ship seeds or plants from the Netherlands?
Seeds, bulbs and plant material need a plant import permit in Tanzania before they ship: Plant Import Permit – issued by the Ministry of Agriculture / TPHPA and Phytosanitary Certificate – issued by the National Plant Protection Organisation. Equipment and machinery don’t.
My goods are with a Dutch distributor but made elsewhere in Europe. Can you collect?
Yes. We collect from where the goods are stored in the Netherlands, whatever their brand or origin, and quote EXW charges for that address.
What if my shipment is under 70 kg?
From the Netherlands we only fly commercial cargo, with a minimum of 70 kg per shipment. Smaller shipments are charged as 70 kg. For small personal orders, our UK and USA Shop & Ship services are usually cheaper.
Why don’t you consolidate shipments from the Netherlands?
Each client’s cargo flies as its own shipment. Your goods don’t wait for other customers’ orders to fill a load, and paperwork stays in your name.
How long does air freight from the Netherlands take?
10 working days from collection, depending on the supplier’s location and export paperwork.
